MultiPass Maintenance Bypasses
A maintenance bypass allows an uninterruptible power supply to be powered down for maintenance without disruption to the load and is typically installed with on-line power systems from 700VA to 800kVA.
The Riello UPS MultiSwitch range is a 'plug and play' bypass with a range of socket configurations, and is available in wall mounting and 19" rackmount format.
An additional safety feature is an automatic transfer should the output of the UPS fail due to overload or system fault or accidental disconnection.
- MultiPass 10-S or -H: for Dialog Plus DLP 70S-200S and DLP 100ER
- MultiPass 16: for Dialog Plus 200ER* and DLP 300S/300ER and Dialog Dual 3k3VA-4kVA
* The ER models have a built in charger which at 2kVA takes the current drawn by the UPS above that which the MultiPass-10 can supply.
